KP-Kazan Reports on Irina Volynets's Proposal for E-cigarette Labeling

KP-Kazan reports that Irina Volynets of Tatarstan urged Russian officials to warn about health risks of e-cigarettes.

According to a recent report by KP-Kazan, Irina Volynets, an official in charge of children's rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, recently revealed that she has made recommendations to Anna Kuznetsova, Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma, and Badma Bashankayev, Chairman of the Health Protection Committee, regarding the health risks of e-cigarettes.

Irina Volynets believes that clearly labeling e-cigarettes with information about their potential health risks, including the risk of lung diseases and effects on the heart, can attract the attention of potential consumers and help them better understand the potential consequences of use. Additionally, she advocates for fines to be imposed on those who do not adopt this practice.
