Large-scale Operation Targets Violations; 488 Phones and 45 E-cigarettes Seized
Turkish police seize 488 phones and 45 e-cigarettes in a crackdown on illegal activity, leading to arrests and legal actions.

According to a report by local media outlet Olay53, the Van City police carried out a large-scale operation to combat illegal activities, resulting in the seizure of 488 mobile phones and 45 e-cigarettes. All these confiscated goods were involved in illegal activities and have been sealed by the authorities. The police have stated that necessary legal proceedings have been taken against six suspects and three incidents.

Nigeria’s House of Representatives said it will review the National Tobacco Control Act to address regulatory gaps around emerging nicotine products such as e-cigarettes and to strengthen border controls and enforcement coordination. Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) began advance sales on March 10 for the fifth limited-edition color of its heated tobacco device “Ploom AURA,” named “Fuchsia Flare.” The product is available through the CLUB JT online shop and Ploom Shops nationwide at a price of JPY 2,980. From March 17, it will also be sold in limited quantities at convenience stores nationwide and selected tobacco retailers.
