2Firsts, December 1, 2025 — According to Japan’s kakaku.com, Philip Morris Japan announced the launch of a new SENTIA tobacco stick variant, SENTIA Icy Red (“センティアアイシーレッド”), designed for the IQOS ILUMA i and IQOS ILUMA heated tobacco devices in the Japanese market.

The report notes that SENTIA Icy Red features an intense cooling menthol sensation layered with subtle red fruit and floral aromas, positioned as a menthol product that combines chill, fruitiness and light floral notes.

The new product will be introduced in phases across Japan:

From December 1, sales begin at four IQOS flagship stores nationwide, as well as IQOS Shops located inside select Yamada Denki and Bic Camera outlets, and IQOS Corners in certain Don Quijote group stores;
From December 4, it becomes available on the IQOS Online Store;
From December 8, it will roll out progressively through tobacco retailers nationwide, including convenience stores.

With the addition of SENTIA Icy Red, the SENTIA product line will expand to a total of 17 variants.

SENTIA Icy Red is priced at 530 yen per pack (20 sticks, approx. USD 3.4).
