2Firsts, November 10, 2025 — According to Journal News Online, Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Philippine affiliate, PMFTC, announced the launch of the limited-edition ZYN Bright Green 1.5 mg nicotine pouch in the Philippines, alongside refreshed packaging and visual identity. The product highlights a “fresh” taste and features the updated can design.

 

Reports note that this update aligns with rising interest among Filipino consumers in smoke-free alternatives. The new product and refreshed packaging will roll out starting November 2025 at IQOS retail stores in Metro Manila, with online availability via ZYN.com. The product contains nicotine but no tobacco leaf, formulated with nicotine and food-grade ingredients.

 

PMFTC President Gijs de Best stated that nicotine pouches play a key role in PMI’s smoke-free portfolio. The company recognizes that no single alternative can meet all adult smokers’ needs, hence the need for a diverse, evidence-based product range to support those seeking to move away from combustible cigarettes.

 

ZYN Brand Manager Donica Pile said that despite the refreshed look, product quality and experience remain consistent. The launch event featured interactive zones such as a “ZYN Experience Room” and a “Refresh Lounge,” showcasing the brand’s evolution and engaging with users.
