PMTT and TPM form Strategic Business Alliance in Trinidad
PMTT and ADHA's TPM form strategic alliance for nationwide distribution, boosting PMTT's market presence in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to Newsday on April 23, Philip Morris Trinidad and Tobago Limited (PMTT) General Manager Sheldon Wood announced a strategic business alliance with a local company under the Dominic Hadeed Group (ADHA) in the region, Total Partnership Management Ltd (TPM).

PMTT announced at a press conference that TPM will be fully responsible for distributing all of its products nationwide, including both non-smoke products and tobacco products.

The significant advantages of TPM in infrastructure, logistics, and future operational capacity have led PMTT to decide to establish a partnership with them to integrate all businesses (both non-smoking and combustible products).

Prior to this, TPM began distributing PMTT's smokeless products in November 2023.

Wuod expressed that TPM is an important factor in accelerating the development of PMTT in the country's market.

Trinidad and Tobago is an innovation hub and fertile ground for investment in the field of smoke-free products and other areas in Central America and the Caribbean region. It not only drove the launch of our new smoke-free product Veev Now, but also demonstrated PMTT's confidence in the growth and success of the local business market.

ADHA Group CEO Dominic Hadeed stated that TPM's vision aligns with that of PMTT.

PMI, the world's largest tobacco company, ambitiously aims to transition its business from cigarettes to smoke-free alternatives. I fully support their vision of a cigarette-free future within the next decade, and I am pleased that they have identified TT as a key investment target. I am equally proud to be a part of this journey.
