Russian Authorities Seize $2.5M Worth of Illegal E-Cigarette Liquid
Russian police seized over 250,000 bottles of illegal e-cigarette liquid in Krasnodar, worth $2.43 million, in a recent crackdown.

According to Ru News24, on December 9th, Russian Interior Ministry representative Irina Volk announced that the Krasnodar police in Russia uncovered a case of illegal production of e-cigarette e-liquid, seizing over 250,000 bottles of finished products with a total value of approximately 2.5 billion rubles (243 million US dollars).


Preliminary investigation shows that a criminal gang organized illegal production of e-cigarette liquid, which was then transported to rental warehouses and sold to retail stores. In a police raid, over 250,000 bottles of finished products were seized, along with eight production machines, packaging materials, and 10 tons of various e-liquid. The confiscated items have been sent for examination. Currently, further investigation into the case is ongoing.
