Russian Police Raid Uncovers 400,000 Tobacco Products and Thousands of Illegal Vapes
A fake alcohol underground factory in Russia was dismantled, seizing 50 tons of illegal alcohol and other products.

According to a report from Kommersant on November 24th, the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region have uncovered an underground factory producing counterfeit alcohol. A total of approximately 50 tons of illegal alcohol, 406,000 tobacco products, over 10,000 e-cigarettes, and 50,000 milliliters of e-cigarette liquid were seized.


Law enforcement officers have dismantled an underground workshop in Vsevolozhsk that specialized in producing counterfeit alcohol, as well as a warehouse storing alcohol products in the Krasnogvardeisky district. In total, approximately 47,800 liters of illegal alcohol, over 406,000 cigarettes, 10,800 e-cigarette devices, and around 50 liters of e-cigarette liquid were seized.


This operation resulted in a total of 45 criminal cases being filed, along with 52 reports of administrative violations.
