Scottish Lutheran Committee Warns Ban on Disposable E-cigarettes
Scottish Luther Board warns that banning disposable e-cigarettes may not be enough to tackle rising youth e-cigarette use.

According to a report by the Press and Journal, the Church of Scotland has warned that banning disposable e-cigarettes may not be enough to address the rising numbers of e-cigarettes among teenagers.

The Health, Social Care, and Sports Committee has written a letter to the Minister of Public Health, Jenni Minto, expressing concerns about the supply and regulations of e-cigarettes.

Earlier, experts presented evidence suggesting that the number of young people using nicotine vapor products (NVP) has been "alarminglly increasing." Data estimates that by 2022, 10% of 13-year-old adolescents will be vaping, compared to just 1% in 2015.
