Thousands of Illegal Cigarettes and E-cigarettes Seized in England
Thousands of illegal cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and tobacco products were seized by Wolverhampton Council in various shops, including "HAYATI" e-cigarettes.

According to a report by BBC on July 26th, the Wolverhampton Council in England has seized thousands of illegal cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and tobacco products from shops across the area. The seized e-cigarette products included the brand "HAYATI.


After receiving a series of complaints, local police discovered 2,280 packets of contraband cigarettes, 8.1 kilograms of banned oral tobacco and snuff, and approximately 550 illegal e-cigarettes hidden under the floor of one of the raided shops.


The city council stated that they are investigating the relevant suppliers.


The Wolverhampton City Council stated that the estimated retail value of the seized e-cigarettes is £8,260. They added that they will take action against the owners of the premises where these products were seized.
