TPE24: SKE Introduces Innovative Tobacco Products
The 2024 Total Product Expo opened in Las Vegas, featuring SKE's new products and plans to launch a full-screen touch product.

The Total Product Expo 24, the annual tobacco exhibition held in Las Vegas, officially commenced on January 31st, 12 pm PST (February 1st, 4 am Beijing Time). At the event, 2FIRSTS engaged in a conversation with Henry S, the Sales Director of SKE, on-site.

Henry S said to 2FIRSTS that SKE is promoting two new products at the TPE exhibition - a 15,000-puff transparent-tank and a 15,000-puff dual-coil disposable product, both of which come with a small screen. In addition, the company plans to launch a full-screen touch screen product in March.

While it is true that most known products come with screens, Henry believes that whether or not a product has a screen is not the key issue. SKE hopes to impress consumers through better taste, competitive prices, and differentiated design. The launch of a full-screen product is merely a strategy to expand their product line and attract a larger consumer base.

In terms of product design, SKE focuses on taste and differentiation. He illustrates this with an example stating that their 15000-flavor dual-core product utilizes a unique design that avoids any decline in taste and experience.

"Take our 15,000-unit dual-chamber dual-coil product, for example. It distinguishes itself from the industry standard of top and bottom coil dual deployment by utilizing two separate pods, each housing a single coil. This approach allows for a preservation of flavor and overall vaping experience," explained Henry.

In addition, the company is also developing new types of dual-core dual-flavor products, such as two different flavored cores or a three-way mode with dual airflow and a suction mouthpiece, in order to provide richer smoke volume and a better vaping experience.

Henry emphasizes that the American market has vast differences, with varying consumer habits in each state. His main customer base is located in the northeastern part of the United States, including regions such as Chicago and Boston.

He pointed out that consumers in the eastern United States prefer high concentrations of nicotine, while those in the western United States tend to prefer lower concentrations. Henry speculates that this is due to the head brand (Breeze) entering the market earlier in the eastern region, causing consumers to become more accustomed to Breeze products. In terms of flavor, consumers in the northern region are less interested in cool sensation products, while those in the southern region like them. This could possibly be closely linked to climate conditions. Therefore, Henry believes that cultivating the US market requires long-term and in-depth research.

Finally, Henry concluded that consumers value taste and design the most. He believes that taste is the main factor that creates user stickiness, while appearance design can attract the preference of new consumers. In researching new products and designs, SKE has overcome the challenge of oil leakage from transparent oil tanks and has made significant investments.

After the end of the exhibition, 2FIRSTS will be hosting a deep sharing event on TPE and the American market on February 6th. During this event, 2FIRSTS' Global Executive Editor-in-Chief, Yuna Hou, and the American team will share the latest discoveries from the exhibition and delve into topics such as product trends and policy direction in the United States.
