Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, the director of Ajman Police's Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, stated that they had received information that a villa was being used for the illegal sale and storage of e-cigarettes. Following this information, the criminal investigation department quickly formed a special task force and conducted a raid after coordinating with the Federal Tax Evasion Prosecution Authority.

During the operation, the police discovered nearly 800,000 e-cigarettes in five rooms of the villa. The e-cigarettes are all of well-known brands. The police later arrested the suspect and handed them over to the federal prosecutor's office for further processing.

Colonel Nuo Ai calls on the public to be vigilant when purchasing goods from non-compliant retail sources and to report any suspicious activities promptly. At the same time, he also warns of the dangers of smoking to human health and reminds citizens to enhance their awareness of health.

The Algerian police will remain vigilant and will crackdown decisively on tax evasion crimes that threaten national security and public safety.
