Recently, 2FIRSTS observed that in the UK e-cigarette market, disposable e-cigarette products with a "2ml+10ml" configuration are becoming a new trend. These products typically consist of a pre-filled 2ml pod with a replaceable 10ml e-liquid reservoir.

The Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 in the UK states that single-use pods, pods or tanks shall have a capacity not exceeding 2 millilitres, and refill containers containing nicotine liquid shall have a volume not exceeding 10 millilitres.

Currently, in the UK, a large number of disposable e-cigarette products are being launched, all operating under this regulation to exercise "creativity" and achieve a balance between "compliance" and high production volume in order to gain approval from government authorities.

Below is a compilation of "2ml+10ml" disposable e-cigarette products and basic information from various major e-cigarette websites in the UK, sorted by product release date.

For manufacturers, retailers and EU policymakers, France may be previewing Europe’s next phase of nicotine governance.

After France’s ANSES report on nicotine products and harm reduction, Dr. Xin-an Liu wrote to 2Firsts reassessing the field’s foundations.
