Unlicensed Cannabis Association Faces Trial in Spanish City
The cannabis association "Green Pharmacy" faces trial next Tuesday for allegedly selling and distributing marijuana without permission in Alhaurin, Spain.

A marijuana association called "Green Pharmacy" is facing charges for selling and distributing marijuana in the city of Arcos de la Frontera, Spain, without proper licenses and regulation. The case is scheduled to be heard in a provincial high court next Tuesday. The association's president, C.G, and secretary, N.J, have been accused by the prosecutor.

According to the prosecution, these two individuals have been illegally selling marijuana since April 1, 2016, until the association was shut down on February 7, 2019.

In addition, the association did not apply for a sales license from the Spanish Medicines and Healthcare Products Agency. Consequently, the prosecution highlights that this is a serious public health offense and illegal association crime.
