2FIRSTS analyzed the European e-cigarette market based on company dimension and found 176 companies in compliance with Belgian regulations.

Recently, 2FIRSTS conducted an in-depth analysis of the European e-cigarette market based on information officially released by major logistics hubs in Europe. The analysis covered various dimensions such as flavors, companies, brands, e-liquids, and packaging. The study examined the market trends of the European e-cigarette market from diverse perspectives.


From a corporate perspective, this article provides an analysis that reveals 176 e-cigarette companies, including subsidiaries and brands, have entered the compliant European market, specifically the Belgium whitelist. Notable companies include Smoore, AqiQi, Yooz, Hangsen, Juul, Smok, AVP, and JUUL.


These companies come from 23 countries, with China, France, and the United Kingdom among the top three. Chinese companies account for 27% of the total.


Various international brands are represented in a proportion data chart, sourced exclusively by 2FIRSTS, which displays their presence on a whitelist. Additionally, some French and German companies seeking compliance for their products have affiliations with Chinese enterprises within their respective firms.


ELFBAR, for example, a subsidiary of the company IQIYI, has applied for white-listing qualifications through its German affiliate, Heaven Gifts Germany GmbH, and its Chinese subsidiary, SHENZHEN VAPEONLY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., for both ELFBAR and LOSTMARY.


The e-cigarette products of Joyetech's e-series, which includes eGo, eRoll, eVic, EXCEED, and CuBox, as well as the iStick series of Eleaf, are jointly declared by Zurs B.V., a Dutch e-cigarette wholesaler, China's JOYETECH (SHENZHEN) ELECTRONICS, and BFL, a French company.


IVPS, the parent company of SMOK, has filed applications with its UK subsidiary IVPS Technology UK Co, Ltd, Dutch affiliate IVPS Technology B.V, and the Dutch e-cigarette wholesaler Zurs B.V. The filings were made by IVPS, which is based in Shenzhen, China.


Geekvape Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shenzhen Geekvape Technology Co., Ltd., has filed its products under the Geekvape brand through its UK affiliate, Geekvape Electronic Cigarettes (UK) Limited, as well as its Chinese subsidiary, Zhuhai Qisitech Co., Ltd., and Dutch e-cigarette wholesaler Zurs B.V. According to Tianyancha data, Geekvape is affiliated with Innokin.

Among these companies, the average number of brands owned per company is 2.55. The top three companies with the highest number of sub-brands are Flavourtec Sp., Gaiatrend, and Millers Juice.


Flavourtec Sp. is a Polish e-liquid company with 18 subsidiary brands; Gaiatrend is a French electronic cigarette and e-liquid company with a total of 17 subsidiary brands; and Millers Juice is a Dutch e-liquid company with a total of 14 subsidiary brands.
