BAT Rothmans, a subsidiary of British American Tobacco in South Korea, has won the prestigious iF Design Award for Product Design in 2025 for its heated tobacco product "glo HYPER pro.

The product had previously won in the Consumer Electronics category at the 2024 European Product Design Awards (EPDA).

The company spokesperson stated that they will continue to focus on developing innovative products to achieve a sustainable future.


According to Getnews on March 31, British American Tobacco Korea Corporation (BAT Rothmans) announced that its heated tobacco product "glo HYPER pro" won the Product Design Award at the "2025 iF Design Award.

 

Before, the "glo HYPER pro" also won an award in the consumer electronics category of the 2024 European Product Design Awards (EPDA).

 

The company's spokesperson stated that

 

Since its debut in 2024, "glo HYPER pro" has been recognized on the global stage as a competitive product. We will focus on developing innovative products to achieve a sustainable future.

 

The iF Design Award is organized by the International Forum Design in Germany and is considered one of the world's top three most prestigious design awards. The jury evaluates excellent designs based on criteria such as creativity, form, function, uniqueness, and sustainability.
