Brazilian Authorities Uncover Thousands of Illegal E-Cigarette Advertisements
Over 11,000 illegal e-cigarette ads found in Brazil, spread across social media, private websites, and delivery platforms, investigation reveals.

According to bahianoticias on September 21st, a survey in Brazil found 11,594 illegal e-cigarette (Vape) advertisements within the country. These advertisements are primarily found on social media, private websites, and even delivery platforms.


According to reports, Brazil has banned the commercialization and advertising of e-cigarette devices since 2009. As of now, relevant authorities have not responded to inquiries.

Russian authorities say they have dismantled an illegal vape-liquid production site in the Moscow region, seizing four production lines, large quantities of components and finished goods, and substantial cash. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has confirmed that six on! PLUS nicotine pouch products have received Marketing Granted Orders (MGO) through the PMTA pathway. A coalition of U.S. vape industry groups has appealed a Mississippi law banning the sale of e-cigarette products containing synthetic nicotine, arguing the statute effectively conditions sales on FDA authorization and unlawfully encroaches on federal regulatory authority. The law took effect in July 2025 and has already begun to be enforced.
