September 11, 2025 — Reynolds American Inc. (Reynolds), the U.S. subsidiary of the global BAT Group, announced the appointment of Dawn-Marie Hutchinson as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective October 1, 2025.

 

In this role, Hutchinson will lead the company’s technology strategy and operations, encompassing digital workplace, core platforms, data & analytics, cybersecurity, and IT service delivery. She will also serve on the Reynolds American Leadership Team.

 

Hutchinson joined the BAT Group in 2021 after a successful career as a Chief Information Security Officer with extensive experience in multinational manufacturing and consumer goods companies. Before joining BAT, she served as CISO for Pharmaceuticals, R&D, and Supply Chain at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), and earlier as CISO at Urban Outfitters Group. She began her career as a Business Analyst at The Walt Disney Company.

During her time at BAT, Hutchinson significantly expanded the global cybersecurity program by establishing a regional support model, launching the Cyber Defense Centre, accelerating the Operational Technology cyber program, and transforming the governance, risk, and compliance function.

 

In her new position, Hutchinson will lead efforts to modernize Reynolds’ IT landscape, strengthen operational resilience, and drive value creation through data and AI across the company’s operating businesses.

 

In addition to her role within BAT Group, Hutchinson serves as a non-executive director on the board of Xalient.


A native of New Hampshire, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
