IVG to Introduce New Pod-system Products in Spain
IVG showcases latest e-cigarette products and strategies at EVO NXT tobacco expo in Malaga, Spain, discussing market trends with 2FIRSTS.

At the EVO NXT tobacco exhibition held in Malaga, Spain, the well-known British e-cigarette brand IVG showcased its latest products and technology, and exchanged views on the Spanish market trends and brand strategy with 2FIRSTS at the event.

IVG Spain Sales Manager Ammu Vijay told 2FIRSTS that IVG's current flagship product is the IVG 2400. She stated that the product is ranked number one among similar products in the UK market, and the company is actively expanding into international markets, particularly in Latin America, France, Italy, and Germany, with Germany being seen as one of the most important markets.

IVG offers 22 single-flavor e-cigarette products, each containing 4 different flavors. In the Spanish market, they offer 13 flavors of their 2400 series e-liquid products, with plans to introduce more flavors to meet evolving consumer preferences.

According to her introduction, IVG plans to launch a pod product to meet market demand.

Vijay stated that IVG e-liquid products have been on the Spanish market for 5-6 years, with major sales channels including supermarkets, tobacco shops, and gas stations. The company has a strong marketing strategy, promoting its products through distributors and retailers.

According to market research, disposable e-cigarettes are becoming increasingly popular in the Spanish market. IVG has launched its own disposable product and sees it as a key focus for future development. The top four best-selling brands in Spain are Vuse, Loop, ELFBAR, and Lost Mary.

Recent trends indicate that although consumers still enjoy traditional cigarettes, in the past two years, there has been a growing shift towards disposable e-cigarettes as they are seen as healthier and more cost-effective. For example, in the UK, a pack of cigarettes cost 20 pounds, while the same price can buy four different flavored e-cigarettes.

In terms of taste preferences, Portuguese consumers tend to choose stronger tobacco flavors; while in Spain, some consumers enjoy tobacco flavors, but more prefer mint and fruit flavors. The taste preferences of consumers vary in each country.

Vijay also stated that IVG is prepared to handle any future regulatory policy changes in Spain. Regarding Spain's smoking ban policy, IVG is ready to switch to pod-based products and is confident in its ability to comply with the disposable ban and any future regulations.

The government's policies, such as the requirement to have warning labels on packaging, country of origin labeling, and e-cigarette nicotine level labeling, are not a problem for them.

This is IVG's second time participating in the EVO NXT exhibition, with the main purpose of showcasing products and establishing brand awareness. The company also plans to participate in an e-cigarette exhibition held in Madrid.
