Jordan Yet to Issue E-Liquid Sales Licenses, Industry Urges Simplified Process
Jordan has not yet issued licenses for the sale of e-cigarette liquids. Industry representatives are calling for a simplified licensing process to support the development of the local industry. E-cigarette importers have expressed concerns about locally produced e-liquids, citing potential risks.

According to a report from Fana News on November 26, Ahmad Bas, a representative of the chemical and cosmetics industries at the Jordan Chamber of Industry, stated that the Jordanian authorities have not yet issued sales permits for e-cigarettee-liquid. The representative noted that although one syrup factory has obtained a production permit for e-cigarettee-liquid, they have not started production yet due to difficulties in acquiring necessary equipment.

He called for supporting local industrial development by simplifying the licensing process, in order to increase value-added, strengthen the domestic supply chain, create more export opportunities, increase employment, and contribute to the national economy.

E-cigarette importer Nagham Salous expressed concerns about the potential risks that locally produced e-cigarette liquids may pose, especially those made with unapproved mixtures or unknown ingredients. She mentioned that e-cigarette liquids are mainly imported from China, the United States, the UK, Paraguay, and Malaysia, while e-cigarettes are completely imported from China.

Product | Following the discontinuation of the AF5000, ELFBAR launches compliant alternative AF5500 in the UK.
ELFBAR has launched the AF5500 in the UK, featuring a 12ml e-liquid capacity. Both its appearance and naming are similar to the popular "2+10" product, the AF5000, which was previously a bestseller in the region. The AF5000 has been removed from the market due to the disposable vape ban, and the AF5500 is likely to be its compliant alternative.
