Philip Morris International (PMI) holds annual shareholder meeting, CEO Jacek Olczak discusses smoke-free business transition and financial performance.

According to an announcement released by Philip Morris International (PMI) on May 8, the company held its annual shareholders' meeting for the year 2024. The CEO of the company, Jacek Olczak, presented the financial performance of 2023 and outlined the goals for transitioning towards a smoke-free business.

 

In his keynote speech, Orzechowski stated, "Our strategic move towards becoming a smoke-free company enables us to establish and maintain strong momentum, resulting in nearly 40% of net revenues and over 40% of gross profit coming from smoke-free products in the fourth quarter of 2023. With leading brands IQOS and ZYN, we are poised to further accelerate our efforts in the coming years to drive the growth of our smoke-free business, benefiting the company, shareholders, other stakeholders, and public health collectively.
