Turkish Authorities Capture Suspects in Anti-Smuggling Operation
Two suspects were captured by the military and police during an anti-smuggling operation in Izmit, Turkey, with 570 e-cigarettes confiscated.

According to Turkish media outlet Haberler, two suspects have been apprehended by military police during an anti-smuggling operation in the Izmit district of Kocaeli province in Turkey.

 

The military and police command in the Kocaeli province are working tirelessly to clamp down on smuggling activities. In a surprise raid in the Izmit district, military and police forces seized a total of 570 e-cigarettes with an estimated value of 400,000 lira (approximately 560,000 RMB). This recent operation is seen as a significant step in combating the prevalent smuggling issue in the region, effectively deterring local smuggling activities.
