Brazilian police seize 421 smuggled e-cigarettes in routine Guaraí inspection, including brands IGNITE, OXBAR, and Lost Mary.

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 421 smuggled e-cigarettes in Guaraí on October 30, according to information posted on the website of the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security. (Polícia Rodoviária Federal in Portuguese)

During a routine check on a local highway on the evening of the 29th, PRF officers intercepted a long-distance bus. A search of the luggage compartment revealed four boxes containing 166, 122, 73, and 60 e-cigarettes, respectively. The confiscated products included various brands such as "IGNITE," "OXBAR," and "LOST MARY.

This batch of 421 e-cigarettes displayed various consignee information, but lacked any legal tax documentation.

After reviewing the information, law enforcement initially classified the goods as suspected contraband. The seized devices have since been turned over to the Federal Revenue Service for processing.
