Over 92,000 kg of Nicotine Products Seized at Ambassador Bridge
The Canada Border Services Agency seized 92,270 kilograms of undeclared nicotine products at the Ambassador Bridge over four days, according to a social media post. The confiscated items included vapes, tins, and pouches. Officials stated the seizure helps prevent profits from reaching organized crime groups.

2Firsts, December 3, 2025 — According to a social media post, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seized 92,270 kilograms of undeclared nicotine products at the Ambassador Bridge over a four-day period.

 

The seizure included about 40,000 vapes, 149,000 tins, and 162,000 pouches. CBSA officials said the operation helps keep profits away from organized crime.

France’s Council of State has suspended a government decree that was set to ban the manufacture, production and export of nicotine pouches from April 2026.
