KT&G Donates 6 Million South Korean Won to Incheon Charity
KT&G donates 6 million won to Incheon Social Welfare Mutual Aid Association in a ceremony attended by coal sharing service and university students.

According to a report from Kihoilbo on November 30, KT&G has donated 6 million Korean won to the Incheon Social Welfare Co-op. The donation ceremony took place in Mangjoo-dong, Nandong-gu, Incheon, in collaboration with the Coal Sharing Service. Representatives from KT&G and students from Jajang University Medical School participated in the event.

A Louisiana lawmaker has introduced HB 302, which would prohibit businesses from selling vapor products within 300 feet of schools. The bill would measure the distance by a person walking on the sidewalk from the nearest point on school property to the nearest point of the business. It would also give the commissioner authority to modify how the distance is calculated, while maintaining the 300-foot limit.

The Denver Post reported that Aurora’s City Council unanimously approved a retail tobacco licensure ordinance on first reading Monday night to reduce underage access to tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vaping cartridges. Yaroslav Nilov, chair of the State Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans’ Affairs, said a bill proposing a full ban on vape sales is currently before the State Duma, though no final decision has yet been made. A 21-year-old man in Singapore is assisting with investigations after a video allegedly showing him vaping inside a bus went viral on social media. The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said via its Instagram Stories that it had identified the man and seized e-vaporisers and 12 pods from his home on Feb 3. Vape-related penalties were strengthened from Sept 1, with first-time adult users liable to a $700 fine, and third-time offenders prosecuted and fined up to $2,000.
