At this year's Dortmund tobacco expo, 2Firsts witnessed a vendor displaying a boxed CBD pouch product. Onsite staff mentioned that the target audience for this product is similar to that of nicotine pouches. However, the expo organizers revealed that due to the relatively high price of boxed CBD pouch products, it is expected to be double the price of nicotine pouches, which will to some extent affect its market positioning and consumer demographics selection.
According to the exhibitors, the product currently has very low sales in the market, and it is even difficult to pinpoint its main sales market. Despite the product being fully developed, the brand is not optimistic about its future market prospects, and even believes that boxed CBD bag products do not have a wide market space. They admit that due to poor current sales performance, the brand may not promote or sell this product on a large scale in the future.
Despite this, the exhibitor still showcased the product but had reservations about canned CBD pouch products, believing their market potential to be limited.
According to reports, CBD is short for Cannabidiol, a compound found in cannabis that does not have addictive or hallucinogenic effects on users. It is often used to alleviate symptoms such as anxiety, pain, insomnia, and epilepsy, and can be consumed in various forms including oil, capsules, gummies, and topicals. Currently, there are strict regulations in place in many places regarding the use, sale, and production of CBD.
