2Firsts, reporting from Shenzhen - The Ministry of Internal Affairs is currently studying the feasibility of completely banning e-cigarettes, Belarus reported.

Discussions on the measure are ongoing, Vasily Demidovich, deputy head of the ministry’s Public Order and Prevention Directorate, said. He raised the possibility of a complete ban following the country’s first reported case of a minor’s death linked to vaping.

"According to data from the World Health Organization, more than 30 countries worldwide have implemented a complete ban on e-cigarettes."

"We are currently discussing the feasibility of implementing relevant bans, or considering the possibility of removing food flavors from e-cigarette liquid."
